Week of October 29 - Nov. 2

It is so wonderful to actually be experiencing some Fall like weather these past two weeks.  The students are really enjoying the warm afternoons when they go out for recess.

Halloween ~
We will once again be doing our customary Halloween activities.  Students are encouraged to wear their costume for the entire day.  Remember that there are no weapons allowed.

In the morning we will be having classes as usual.
In the afternoon students will rotate through a variety of Halloween centers.
At 2:45 we will be having our Halloween Parade in the gym.

All parents are welcome to join us.  Don't forget to wear your Halloween costume!

Pumpkin Display ~

Families are encouraged to bring in pumpkins to display on Halloween Day.  It is always amazing to see how creative everyone is.  Parents are welcome to go through the Pumpkin display before the parade!

No School ~

Thursday, November 1st there will be no school for students as this is a Staff Planning and Development Day.  Staff will be reviewing the results of our benchmark assessments and then creating a plan on how to implement strategies to support students working below grade level.
