WE Day ~
Fifteen students from the Gr. 5/6 class will be attending WE Day in Calgary on Wednesday, November 1st. This is a very inspirational day for the students. They are able to hear stories from people like Rick Hansen and Spencer West as well as other people that chose to rise above the adversity they were facing and make a difference in the world.
If you would like to know more about what WE Day is, you can go to www.we.org. I am sure that if your child is one of the students attending WE Day you will hear many stories about it.
A special Thank You to our PTA for providing funds to help pay for the busing. Your generosity is a step towards helping our students make a difference. Thank you! Thank you!
