Week of Nov. 27th - Dec. 1st

The basketball season is officially underway.  Both the girls' and boys' teams played against East Elementary on Thursday night.  Everyone on both team played very well and worked very hard on the court.  The boys won their game 32-6.  Unfortunately the girls' team did not fare as well.

Parking ~

When picking up your child from school at the end of the day, please be sure to park in the main parking lot.  Parking at the south end of the bus lane is not always safe.  If you park there before all of the buses arrive and there is a child walking to your vehicle, the bus driver is not able to see them.  For the safety of the students, please do not park in the bus lanes.  Thank you!

Boyle Street community Centre Donations ~

Thank you to everyone that donated new or gently used items for the Boyle Street Community Centre.  We collected eight large bags and 2 big boxes of warm, winter items to donate.

Staff Professional Planning and Development ~

There is no school on Friday, Dec. 1 as it is a Staff Planning and Development Day for teachers.  Teachers will be working towards their goals on their Professional Growth Plans.

Some Snow Fun ~

The students have been having fun playing on the snow hills that were created from the plowed snow.

Basketball Game ~

The first basketball game of the season for both the girls' and the boys' teams will be happening on Thursday, November 23 against East Elementary.  The games will be played at East Elementary School in Leduc.  Games will begin as soon as the teams arrive at East Elementary.  Best of luck to both teams! Go Panthers Go!

***If you are going to be transporting students other than your own child, you must fill out the parent driver form and provide a copy of your insurance to the office.  If both parents may be driving occasionally, then both parents need to sign the form.  Anyone  driving other students must have a minimum of $1,000,000 liability insurance. You do not need to fill out a form if you are only transporting your own child.***

Report Cards ~

The first term report cards will be sent home on Friday, November 24th.  When your child brings home their report card, take some time to talk about it with them and perhaps have them set some goals for the next term.

Morning Supervision ~

This is a reminder that supervision before school in the mornings does not start until 8:10 a.m.  Any students arriving before that time are still the responsibility of the parents.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact the school.

Boyle Street Community Centre ~

We are still accepting donations for the Boyle Street Community Centre.  Donations to the Centre have been down this year so in trying to be more community minded we are accepting donations of new or gently used adult clothing that would be worn in the winter.

Thank you in advance for your generous donations and thank you to Mrs. Dudiak who has volunteered to drive the donations into the Centre for us.
